BSA Soar Projects

Soar Projects are an activity the troop does to benefit a location. This has been tree removing and trail restoring mostly for the troop.

Project 1. Pinewood Derby


The troop held a pinewood derby recently. This is a very old event in the history of boy scouts. This event is where scouts crate a wooden car from a template piece they get. After that everyone gets together and races them on a custom made track for the cars.

Project 2. Scouting for food​

Every year the troop puts out flyers and adds to let people know when they plan on doing the pick up for scouting for food. The troop and pack then gets together and picks up the bags of donated nonperishable foods and brings them to the local food bank.
